ABOUT US
Founded in 2019, Coastal SNAP is an all volunteer 501c3 non profit organization. We aim to provide a variety of athletic and recreational opportunities to children and young adults with intellectual and physical disabilities ages 3 - 22.​ ​

VOLUNTEER
Volunteers are the heart of Coastal SNAP, helping the organization fulfill our mission of providing athletic and recreational opportunities to children and young adults with intellectual and physical disabilities.
Volunteer your time and share your talents, whether it's fundraising, volunteering at an event or sport session, or helping in another way. High School students who volunteer will earn volunteer hours that meet their school requirements.

By volunteering you will help our athletes discover their physical skills, self-esteem and courage. ​
PROGRAMS
Coastal SNAP programs are designed to be flexible, and prerequisite skills are not required. Our programs are staffed by adult coaches and high school mentors who serve as peer role models. Coaches and mentors strive to meet each particular child at their own level. Athletes can be paired with mentors to work with 1:1 during the session if needed.
Coaches prepare drills and fun games and athletes will be encouraged by coaches, and mentors to participate in the organized activities. If athletes are unable to or are not interested in the organized activities that is ok. The only expectation is FUN! The coaches and mentors will be flexible and try to accommodate the interests of each athlete.

Coastal SNAP Special Needs Athletic Partnership is an all volunteer non profit organization. We aim to provide a variety of athletic and recreational opportunities to children and young adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. With the support of mentors and coaches, Coastal SNAP will provide an inclusive, positive social environment for all participants. Programs will foster true friendships while encouraging growth and development and providing families a supportive welcoming atmosphere in their community.
